Working with the team, you will create a culture of managing risk by being commercially astute, whilst creating a welcoming, safe, secure shopping and working environment, providing a presence to protect and minimize stock loss in store.
As part of the store team, you will be required to be a point of contact for customers and visitors by welcoming and advising them in the store, whilst remaining vigilant and aware of any potential risks. You will complete tasks to support the Store Manager in enhancing the stock loss culture in store, such as training the store team, reviewing targeted data, completing risk assessments, taking ownership of the front of house standards, disciplines, and building effective working relationships with external agencies such as the police and other security personnel.
You will identify and communicate risks, complete safety and security checks, report information, and act as a deterrent on the shop floor to any external threats.
You will ensure Company policies and standards around the store are always adhered to.
Salary: £28,256 per annum
Please note that we do not require an SIA licence for this role. Whilst a background in security is beneficial, we welcome applications from retail or hospitality managers who are passionate about customer service and minimizing loss.

Minimum Requirements:
* Background in team leadership or a previous management role is essential
* Previous experience working in a retail environment
* Committed to working as part of the store team
* Self-motivated and always ready to use your initiative
* A confident communicator who can build great relationships with store teams, visitors, and customers
This is a full time, permanent contract of 45 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7. The shifts will be a mixture of daytime, weekend, and evening work and will change on a weekly basis. We will require full flexibility across the week.
