Ambitek is seeking a Steel Yard Improver / Sideloader / FLT Operator for our client based in Northwich. If you have experience with sideloaders and forklifts, this is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced team in a yard environment, handling steel deliveries and loading trailers.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
* Operating FLT to move and handle steel and large fabricated materials
* Assisting with general labouring and workshop support duties
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area
* Supporting the team to ensure efficient and safe day-to-day operations
* Following all on-site health & safety procedures
✅ Requirements:
* Previous experience in a steel fabrication or workshop setting
* FLT Counter balance licence
* In-date Side Loader licence preferred but not a deal breaker
* Good work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
