As we scale, we need a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of our events, podcasts, and webinars, ensuring seamless operations and engagement with our audience.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Volunteer Project Manager to take ownership of our events, webinars, and podcasts, ensuring they are well-planned, executed, and aligned with LocaeRise’s strategic goals. This role requires someone with strong organizational and communication skills, who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate across various departments.
You will work closely with the CEO, Events Team, Marketing, and Sales to drive attendance, engagement, and content delivery across our initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event & Webinar Management
• Plan, coordinate, and execute all virtual and in-person events, including school fundraising events, vendor meet-the-buyer sessions, and networking events.
• Ensure each event has clear objectives, promotional strategies, and post-event follow-ups.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to drive registrations and ensure audience engagement.
• Secure guest speakers, panelists, and sponsors for relevant webinars and conferences.
• Manage event logistics, including scheduling, technical setup, and promotional materials.
2. Podcast Production & Coordination
• Oversee the production of two podcasts per month (guest and solo-hosted).
• Book guests, prepare interview questions, and coordinate recording schedules.
• Work with the Marketing Team to promote podcast episodes on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Ensure podcast episodes are edited, published, and distributed effectively.
3. Stakeholder & Speaker Coordination
• Identify and engage industry experts, vendors, and partners to feature in events, webinars, and podcasts.
• Manage guest onboarding, ensuring they are briefed and prepared for participation.
• Create pre-event materials (e.g., briefing documents, event agendas, interview guides).
4. Reporting & Performance Tracking
• Track event attendance, engagement, and impact metrics, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Monitor conversion rates from events/webinars into vendor sign-ups and school partnerships.
• Provide weekly updates to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on project progress and upcoming initiatives.
