Join the Economic Development team in helping the New Forest deliver on its economic potential
We are looking for a proactive and adaptable individual to join our Economic Development team as a Business Support and Communications Officer. Can you provide support to local businesses, advancing our economic development priorities? Can you play a crucial part in delivering communications strategies for various projects and initiatives while also supporting the overall growth of the New Forest District’s business sector?
About the role
As a Business Support and Communications Officer, you will support the delivery of economic development projects and initiatives across the district, developing and implementing communication plans for a variety of projects, including social media, websites, and other engagement channels.
Working alongside the Economic Development Officer and Manager, the Business Support and Communications Officer will engage with internal and external stakeholders to foster and maintain relationships with key business partners. You will also assist with funding bids and related administrative tasks, ensuring the timely monitoring and reporting of progress.
