Job Duties:
* Provide one-to-one English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) tutoring for Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC)
* Develop customised lesson plans to meet the individual learning needs of UASC students
* Assess students' language proficiency and progress regularly
* Provide feedback and support to help students improve their English language skills
* Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure a comprehensive learning experience for UASC students
Required Qualifications:
* Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertTESOL, CELTA)
* Experience in teaching ESOL to young learners
* Knowledge of the UK education system and curriculum
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with UASC students
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of language acquisition principles
* Ability to differentiate instruction based on students' needs
* Excellent classroom management skills
* Proficiency in using technology for teaching purposes
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with diverse student populations
* Additional qualifications in Special Education or Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL)
Working Conditions:
* Work in a school OR HOME setting with UASC students
* Full-time hours with some flexibility required based on student needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
