This large manufacturingpany is currently recruiting a production administrator to join their team. They are based in Fulwood, Preston. Due to rapidpany growth, my client is hoping to expand the team to maintain the quality and accuracy of the site's functions. This role will be for a minimum of 6 months within a team of 5 other administrators. There is potential for this role to be extended and made permanent dependent on business needs.
Your new role
1. Reporting into and providing support to the production manager.
2. Assist with scheduling and coordinating production activites.
3. Amending and processing orders.
4. Requesting quotes from different suppliers and ensuring the most cost-effective options.
5. Raising orders on SAP.
6. Updating and amending spreadsheets.
7. Any additional ad-hoc project administration work.
What you'll need to succeed
8. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing background and have worked on SAP. Please note, this is desirable but not essential.
9. Previous administration is necessary due to the level of skills required for the role.
10. Adaptable and willingness to learn new software and systems.
11. Excellentmunication skills, both written and verbal.
12. The ability to work well within a team and co-ordinate between different departments.
What you'll get in return
13. £ per hour premium, hours per week
14. 09:00am-17:00pm, Monday-Friday.
15. 6 months temporary with the potential to go permanent dependent on business needs and performance.
