Milby Primary School is a two-form entry school located in the north east of Nuneaton. We are seeking to appoint a reliable, trustworthy and effective school caretaker to join our team of dedicated, committed staff. This is a permanent position with an immediate start, working 30 hours per week (7:00am – 9:15am; 2:45pm – 6:30pm), on an all year-round contract. Hourly rate: £12.65 Annual salary: £24,404 FTE Milby Primary School is a popular school with happy children, supportive parents and dedicated staff and governors. You will be responsible for taking care of our school site, including maintenance work of buildings, grounds, fixtures and fittings, ensuring a welcoming, clean, attractive, safe and secure site for all of our stakeholders. We are looking for someone who really cares for our school, ensuring that it looks its best and exemplifies the high expectations that we have for our children. You will be required to have excellent DIY skills in one or more of the following: basic plumbing, carpentry, handiwork and painting. Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation including asbestos management, water testing, fire safety and COSHH would be advantageous. You must be numerate, computer literate and physically fit as there are physical elements and some heavy lifting involved.
