Our public sector client based in Gateshead has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Safeguarding Clerk to join their team as soon as possible. The role is looking to start as soon as possible and will be temporary, lasting until the end of June 2025 initially. The position is full time, working Monday to Friday 37 hours per week with a pay rate of £12.80 per hour. We are looking for a candidate with extensive minute taking experience. Preferably, with a background in children's social care who has had experience of minuting child protection conferences and strategy meetings etc. Working within the Safeguarding Children Unit, your duties will include:- · Arranging initial and review Child Protection Conferences, Secure Reviews, Complex Abuse Meetings and Strategy Meetings by ensuring invitations are distributed to all relevant attendees · Attend meetings either in person or on screen to minute and produce an accurate record of the meeting discussion · Ensure accurate performance data is inputted into the IT system following all meetings · Maintain appropriate records on the social care database and adhere to guidelines regarding confidentiality and information sharing · Any additional business support tasks to support the unit as required In order to be considered for the role it is essential that you have the following experience: · Taking minutes at meetings · Strong office administration skills · Excellent IT and typing skills · Use of office-based programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook Please apply online in the first instance, send your CV to (url removed) or call Barker Ross Lincoln on (phone number removed) today Barker Ross Group values diversity and promotes equality.
