Flourish Education are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support in a Small Primary School in Kings Norton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a small school, providing support for students with Autism, and demand avoidance. Our client is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Year 3 Class, supporting a group of children with Autism and demand avoidance. The ideal candidate would be able to build strong relationships with the children and support them with their class work. This role would be a full-time, long-term role, starting ASAP and continuing for the full academic year. The responsibilities of this SEN Teaching Assistant Role: Supporting students with SEN, including Autism (ASD) and demand avoidance in a Primary School setting Assisting the class teacher in delivering lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 (KS2) Providing one-on-one support for children with SEN. Managing demand avoidance and helping students develop positive coping strategies Encouraging social interaction and promoting a positive learning environment Required Skills and Experience: Previous experience working as a TA in a UK Primary School Experience with SEN, including Autism (ASD) and demand avoidance.
