We are now recruiting for an Electrical Engineering Technician to join our operations department.
You will provide engineering expertise on all electrical/electronic technical matters pertaining to the company’s conversion business, including New Product Development (NPD) and Current Model Production (CMP).
Hours of work are Monday - Wednesday, with flexible start times between 7am-8am and finishing time between 5pm-6pm and Thursday, flexible start times between 7am-8am and finish time between 4.30pm-5.30pm and the salary is up to £45k DOE.

The main duties of the role are:
* Design and development of new and existing vehicle conversion electrical and electronic systems (full lifecycle) from concept right the way through to manufacture / delivery.
* Amend designs/technical specifications/Bills of Materials (BOM)/documentation as directed through the Engineering Change Note (ECN) process.
* Perform feasibility studies for new projects and technical developments.
* Manufacturing support during production implementation and as required for any Production/Warranty faults.
* Perform root cause analysis and fault finding across the business.
To be effective in this role, you will have:
* HND in electrical engineering or related subject or equivalent experience.
* Experience of working in an automotive / manufacturing environment with an excellent grasp of electrical and electronic engineering and design principles.
* Previous experience of working in a similar role and of using electrical Schematic Software.
* Knowledge of vehicle CANbus systems.
Previous experience of working in WAV/ Coachbuilding industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
