Our award-wining products are renowned for their inbuilt safety, reliability and performance by a world-wide customer base. Your business as usual will be doing one or all of these: Driving our internal and external supply chain by reviewing, processing and managing Bill of Materials; generating work orders and purchase orders accordingly; ensuring data integrity our procurement systems. Monitoring ongoing procurement projects and outstanding material requirements, liaising with stakeholder and suppliers to ensure that the right materials / services are available at the right time in the right place. Delivering maximum value through negotiation with suppliers on purchase requisitions. Proactively driving down cost, improving service and delivering value across a range of suppliers. Integral with this is supplier relationship management. Assisting the Design and Development team with the sourcing of new / prototype materials and vendors, feeding back procurement requirements into our product data management system. Ownership of our supplier approvals process, ensuring records are up to date and leading the problem resolution process as and when supply chain / supplier quality issues arise. The Ideal Candidate: A degree in a Supply Chain / Business / Engineering related discipline Experience in a procurement / supply chain environment Background / Knowledge of engineering Have or working towards CIPS or IOSCM qualification Knowledge of MRP / EPR Systems, Bill of Material, Work / Purchase order process Able to read and interpret engineering drawings Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills; Proactive and methodical approach to problem solving; determination to succeed under pressure; Excellent computer literacy including intermediate / expert use of MS Excel. Be confident and capable performing in a time pressured environment with changing priorities.
