Maintenance Engineer (On-Site, Full-Time) – Dudley We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Dudley. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment through maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and electrical maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance on equipment. Troubleshoot and maintain 3-phase electrical control systems, including contactors, inverter circuits, motors, and safety circuits. Work independently or as part of a team to ensure all engineering requirements are met. Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Read and interpret technical schematics and documentation. Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as required. Assist with sub-assembly work, machining (lathe/milling/grinding), and other mechanical tasks. Requirements: Experience in Slitting and Decoiling is essential. Strong background in maintenance engineering, electrical maintenance, and equipment maintenance. Expertise in MIG/MAG/Arc welding, Oxy Fuel, and general fabrication. Knowledge of LOLER, PUWER, Health & Safety regulations. 17th/18th Edition Electrical Qualification (AM2/AM2S) is desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
