Legal Cashier – Finance Team - Boston About Us Ringrose Law, a highly esteemed legal firm based in Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire is excited to announce, due to our recent expansion, we are now seeking a diligent and detail-oriented legal cashier to join our Accounts Team. The position is full time and is based in Boston. The Role As a cashier in our Accounts Team, you will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions and ensuring accurate recording of client and office account payments. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional and dynamic environment where precision and confidentiality are essential. Key Responsibilities -Process client and office account receipts, banking and payments. -Utilising banking software to process incoming receipt and outgoing payments (including CHAPS/BACS) -Client to office transfers -Petty cash and staff expenses -Bank reconciliations -Purchase leger invoices and payments -Credit Control -Processing client invoices -General internal and external queries and reporting as required -Other ad hoc/ongoing duties as required About You We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and attributes: -Ideally previous experience in a cashiering or similar finance role, ideally within a law firm. -Knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules (preferred but not essential). -Strong numerical skills and attention to detail. -Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications. -Excellent communication and organisational skills. -A team player with a proactive and professional attitude.
