We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is enthusiastic, committed and professional, with the passion and drive to provide the highest quality care. We are looking for candidates with a passion for Trauma and Orthopaedics and who would enjoy working within an Outpatient setting.
We are looking to recruit a Registered Nurse to join our lovely Fracture and Orthopaedic team at Bassetlaw Hospital. This role will also involve cross site working if required.
We work on a Monday to Friday basis and only work at a weekend if an extra clinic is needed. Hours range between 8.30am to 6pm 5 days a week.
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, dynamic and committed Registered Nurse to join our team at Bassetlaw Fracture/Orthopaedic Clinic.
This role consists of the following:
1. Taking charge of the department in the absence of the Department Manager/Sister.
2. Managing a nurse led dressing clinic including many aspects of wound care.
3. Assisting patient flow through the department.
4. Managing additional and cancelled clinics.
5. Communicating with patients with regards to appointments and helping to resolve complaints.
6. Assisting with the management of staff sickness and the allocation of staff in the department.
7. Helping to order stock for the department.
Although this list of duties is not exhaustive, training will also be given to the correct candidate if required but previous experience would be preferable.
