We are seeking an outstanding leader to join the Director of Schools in this new role with St Joseph’s. The role will be overseeing the development of Specialist physical education and sports programs for our Melbourne Metropolitan campuses.
This role will be focused on:
* Developing bespoke models and programs that deliver engaging education experiences
* Focusing on the physical health and wellbeing of young people
* Building and facilitating mutually beneficial partnerships within the school community
The role:
* This role is a full-time 1.0FTE ongoing Program Manager based at our Carlton office, working flexibly, with frequent travel to school sites.
* You will be employed on an ongoing basis as a teacher with an allowance for a 5-year fixed or ongoing Education Support with a 5-year fixed term allowance commencing Term 1, 2025, and will be employed under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022.
You will need:
* Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles: Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal, and Honesty.
* A tertiary qualification in Education, Health, Sports or related field.
* Collaborative team player with highly developed interpersonal skills and a well-developed understanding of the developmental needs of young people from a disadvantaged or disengaged perspective.
* Ability to develop engaging onsite curriculum.
* Eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
* Valid First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
* Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive school vehicles when required.
