The Digital & Marketing Executive is an essential role within the Marketing Team, helping us to develop and execute lifecycle, triggered and automated omni-channel campaigns using email, SMS, Content and Social. This role is responsible for creating and implementing strategies to drive occupancy, build brand awareness and improve community engagement using digital and offline.
This role has the option to be office based or hybrid, with some days in the office and some days working from home. Main Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Execute and manage lifecycle, triggered and automated omni-channel campaigns using email, SMS as well as Content and Social
2. Identify and create campaigns to create and drive enquiries using our CRM logged B2B and B2C customer data, using segmentation to identify key areas of focus
3. Build and deliver a test and optimise programme to continuously build on our knowledge and insight about what works
4. Develop and maintain email and SMS communications to our key audiences
5. Alongside the wider team, create and suggest content to support campaigns and email newsletters
6. Working with the wider team to define and understand our core segments and opportunities
7. Identify opportunities within our CRM data to improve our lead generation and conversion across all channels
8. Contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on KPIs, providing feedback on issues and areas of improvement
9. Measure effectiveness of each campaign with suggestions about improvements
10. Alongside the Head of Marketing, be the primary contact point in the central Marketing team for the Business Development Managers (BDMs) to support the planning and delivery of regional marketing activity focused on priority homes, which could include the production of ad hoc adverts, event collateral and community engagement initiatives
11. Drive enquiries from affiliate broker sites, ensuring each entry positively reflects each home
12. Carry out ad hoc customer insight research to help with our targeting and campaigns
13. Liaise with agencies in a professional manner and ensuring all materials produced (whether by agency or in-house) are up to date, to a high standard, accurate and within brand guidelines
14. Input into the broader planning of activity to promote visibility of our care homes in their local community
15. In conjunction with the Head of Marketing, work closely with other internal teams to ensure we capitalise on all internal initiatives, communicating these to relevant audiences for the benefit of our homes
16. Have an excellent working relationship with BDMs and the wider business.
Selection Criteria:
17. This role will be based in the Wilmslow office but there will be a requirement to travel as and when required to our homes
18. Evidence of experience of supporting digital campaigns for health care or using CRM data
19. Previous experience of digital, email or SMS marketing tools would be an advantage
20. Experience of creating and developing campaigns based on CRM driven data would be an advantage
21. Experience of WordPress would be helpful but not essential
22. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
23. Educated to degree level or equivalent with marketing qualification an advantage
24. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills and ability to manage own workload
25. Excellent communication skills, particularly able to write in an engaging manner to suit a variety of audiences
26. Evidence of ability to work effectively within a multi-functional team
27. Evidence of ability to work concurrently on a number of different projects, ensuring projects are completed to time
28. Strong attention to detail
29. Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
30. Full clean driving licence
31. Ability to discharge key elements of the role via an assessment centre or structured interview assessing competency and behaviours.
