Salary: £36,100.38 per annum plus geographical allowance of £1,051 (dependant on location) and car allowance of £2,280 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for a Leasehold Management Officer at Advance. Advance is a specialist supported housing association that is on an exciting journey to deliver more services and develop more housing for people with learning difficulties, disabilities and supporting people towards greater independent living.
Advance currently offers a unique shared ownership service directed at people with long term disabilities. We have delivered over 770 properties over the last 30 years for people to buy a share in and we are aiming to increase this by 40 in the next 12 months.
The Leasehold Management Officer's role is to undertake the following duties: - Maintain management agreements & leases, lead on lease queries, oversee the management of section 20 processes and lead on conveyancing matters as required.
You will also be responsible for the management of a Leasehold Assistant, and you will work closely with a team of Regional Housing Officers who manage our shared ownership properties. The role covers all our housing in England (South and Midlands). The role also entails working in some exciting partnerships and it is ideal for anyone who has skills that can engage with commissioners and organisations that want to deliver the same outcomes as Advance.

About the candidate:
Experience in Leasehold Management is essential as we are looking for the right candidate who has the aptitude and is willing to develop their skills in social housing.
Able to ensure Customer Services, Property Services and Tenancy and leasehold team provide an effective and responsive service that is regulatory and legally compliant
Able to be the lead officer for the implementation of the leasehold services improvement plans
Able to process all stair casing applications from enquiry through to completion
Able to respond to more complex enquires from owners, solicitors and external interested parties
Able to provide expert advice on complex leasehold issues
Able to provide updated reports and communications to the management as required
Able to ensure all teams within Advance deliver leasehold services in line with set performance standards and policiesThere will be some travel required but the majority of the role will be office based in our Witney or Leicester Offices.
