Bill of Materials (BoM) Administrator Circa £30k depending on experience Daytime Hours Established and well-respected company Excellent working environment Has a credible record of long-term staff members Due to continued growth our leading manufacturing client is looking for a BOM Administrator. As BoM Administrator you will play a critical role in maintaining, updating, and managing Bills of Materials for the companiesengineering and manufacturing projects. The Job Create, update, and manage Bills of Materials for all new and existing products. Ensure accuracy in part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and specifications within the BoM. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to input and manage changes to BoM as projects evolve. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure alignment of the BoM with product design, manufacturing, and supply chain requirements. Input BoM data into Microsoft NAV and other systems, ensuring accurate integration with other databases. Maintain data integrity and accuracy in the system, updating part records as needed. Track and document Design Alteration Requests (DARs) and ensure all updates are reflected in the BoM. Implement revisions to BoMs in line with design changes, product upgrades, or production feedback. Support the procurement team in sourcing parts and materials, providing detailed BoM for cost analysis. Generate and analyse reports on material usage, costs, and stock levels to support production planning. Ensure that BoMs comply with internal standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements. Maintain clear documentation of all BoM-related activities to ensure traceability and audit readiness. About you Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain in the Electronics or related fields is required. Relevant certifications or training in Microsoft NAV or similar systems management is advantageous 2 years of experience in BoM administration, production planning, or a related role within an electronics related engineering or manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems. Experience with Engineering Change management. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
