Healthcare Cleaners provide a range of cleaning duties across the Trust and support services to ensure a safe, efficient and effective service to all patients, staff and visitors is delivered.
Basic knowledge of cleaning standards and previous experience of working in a hospital environment, which can include wards, outpatient /clinical areas, offices areas, and Public areas.
The individual will be working, as part of the Deep Clean Team at Florence nightingale community hospital or on their own, ensuring that patient and non patient rooms, furniture and equipment are deep cleaned to the highest cleanliness standards.
Responsible to respond timely on Infection Control and Ward/Department requests to decontaminate rooms with Hydrogen Peroxide, setting up inflatable Derby Door or delivering Portable sinks to the outbreak areas.
To ensure that enhanced cleanliness standards are maintained and all cleaning equipment is used in accordance with the instructions and faults reported.
Use of mechanical and electrical cleaning equipment is desirable. You must be able to work alone or as part of a team.
