Location: Birmingham
Contract Type: Locum ongoing contract, Full time - Flexible working considered
Pay Rate: £31 per hour (assignment rate)

Main Duties of the Occupational Therapist:
1. Provide Occupational Therapy at a highly specialist level as part of the neurodevelopmental pathway, supporting holistic assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for children and young people.
2. Work as part of multidisciplinary and multi-agency teams to deliver highly specialist interventions according to agreed service packages of care.
3. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with parents/carers and other stakeholders using highly developed negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
4. Demonstrate clinical leadership and represent the local team/service area in appropriate meetings to support the planning and development of quality services.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
1. Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
2. Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist
3. Recent NHS experience
4. Registered with the HCPC
