We are pleased to be working with a dynamic and rapidly growing supplier within the household category to UK major multiples; discounter retailers as well as wholesale.
THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced Export Sales Manager to join their expanding team.
The role involves overseeing the export operations, developing business plans, managing international business relationships, facilitating international trade, and driving sales.
Minimum requirements to be a success in the role:
Proven track record of success in FMCG export sales, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
Established relationships with distributors/ non-domestic retailers.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint.
Full driving license.
THE CANDIDATE:
You are a commercially astute, tenacious individual with a minimum of 2 years export sales experience in FMCG (preferably in the household or personal care categories) as well as experience in securing new business.
You can build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers and have an established network of distributors and non-domestic retailers alike, allowing you to implement your growth strategy with speed.
You have experience analysing market trends and competitor activities to identify & pursue opportunities for growth.
Are able to prepare and present business plans to customers, sales forecasts and performance metrics to management.
A background in FMCG household or personal care categories.
Strong understanding of international markets and export regulations.
Fluency in multiple languages a benefit.
Ability to travel internationally as required.
