We have an exciting opportunity within Acute Inpatient Mental Health Services for a Clinical Lead to work on Ashbrook Ward at Lynfield Mount hospital.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about the provision of high-quality recovery focused care and who is committed to improving service user and family/carer experience across the whole care journey.

Main duties of the job
You will be able to expertly appraise the care navigation of service users with complex care needs, supporting the medical team as a senior clinician, being able to competently provide expert professional advice, support, and guidance to other professionals within the health and social care setting on the complex needs of individuals.
You will be someone who can critically appraise their own learning needs and enjoys supporting the development of others through expert role modelling, teaching, and supervised practice.
You will be able to work creatively to lead and motivate the team to strive for continuous improvement through the development of collaborative working pathways within Mental Health Services and with partner organisations in the acute, voluntary and community sectors.
You will be able to lead on developments within the service, contribute to data collection and analysis ensuring the service meets quality standards set locally, regionally, and nationally.

Qualifications
Essential
* Registered Mental Health Nurse
* Minimum of 3 years working within inpatient services
* Evidence of continuing professional development
Desirable
* To have undertaken/working towards accredited courses which enable potential Advanced Practitioner registration.
Experience
Essential
* Minimum of 3 years experience working with acute wards as band 6 or 7
* Significant experience of assessment of physical and mental health need for clients experiencing acute mental illness
* Demonstrable experience of multi-agency working/working across service interfaces
