Job purpose: Support a 48-year-old lady living with FND (Functional neurological disorder) and struggles with walking and speech, with everyday tasks. Location: Methwold, IP26 Job Description: Assisting with batch cooking, meal preparation and kitchen tasks Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, and personal care Assisting with grocery shopping Assisting with housekeeping tasks. Any other reasonable duties as requested. Person specification Essential: The ideal candidate would require calming, reassuring, caring, and patience. The person I employ must have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work, including total respect for my privacy. A female is required due to the personal care element of the role. Desirable: Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the individual's needs. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Summary terms and conditions The rate of pay for this position is £12.43 per hour. Hours and times of work: 13 Hrs Per Week, Time discussed further at interview. The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks. Free Care Skills training is provided to employed staff. The post is subject to the following: A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
