The successful candidate will join the Design Technology Team consisting of 2 teaching staff specialising in Design Food / Hospitality & Catering and Design Textiles along with 2 technicians covering Product Design and Food / Textiles. They will have high expectations, expert subject knowledge, a strong and positive work ethic and an unwavering commitment to all students achieving their full potential in Design Technology through consistently excellent teaching. Working collaboratively as part of a dedicated and talented team, they will be inspirational to both students and colleagues and will be committed to sharing best practice and contributing to enrichment, intervention and the development of the department.

We are looking for somebody who is able to teach Product Design / Resistant Materials across Key Stage 3 and 4. The position of Teacher of Technology is an opportunity for a Technology specialist to come and deliver the Design and Technology curriculum to offer a wider range of subjects. The start date for the position is September 2025 or earlier if possible.
