About the Role
As the Head of Marketing Operations and Delivery in our Customer Engagement division, you’ll play a key role in articulating who we are as a Brand, and why customers should choose and stay with ANZ.
The newly created Head of Marketing Operations and Delivery role holds a critical mandate to drive the successful execution of Marketing’s most strategic initiatives, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of excellence. This role is designed for a seasoned leader who will take ownership of the entire delivery lifecycle, from planning and prioritisation, change management, financial and resource management through to delivery efficiency, governance and process effectiveness. This senior leader will be responsible for aligning resources and capabilities with organisational priorities, managing complex change initiatives and ensuring robust governance across all programs to ensure what and how we deliver is continually improving. This role provides both program and project management to internal and cross-functional initiatives whilst also being accountable for BAU delivery excellence across the function.

What will your day look like?
As the Head of Marketing Operations and Delivery, you will:
* Drive strategic planning and prioritisation to align programs with organisational goals
* Lead change management and communication strategies to ensure smooth program execution
* Champion delivery excellence and implement continuous improvement practices
* Oversee financial management for BAU operations and investment initiatives
* Manage resources to align talent and capabilities with critical priorities
* Establish and enforce governance standards across all programs and projects
* Oversee demand management and optimise capacity for successful delivery outcomes
* Coordinate work sequencing across teams to ensure synchronised execution
* Maintain consistent delivery cadence and rhythm for project and BAU activities
* Manage supplier contracts to optimise cost efficiency and quality
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
* Extensive experience in leading large, complex, cross-functional programs with a strategic vision aligned to organisational goals
* Deep expertise in change management and executing communication strategies to ensure stakeholder alignment
* Strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement practices
* Expertise in financial management, optimising costs, and delivering maximum value
* Extensive experience in leading PMO functions and establishing governance standards
