Job Title: Mental Health Adult Inpatient Consultant

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the clinical care of adult inpatient mental health patients, providing high-quality, evidence-based treatment plans.
* Carry out comprehensive assessments, formulate diagnoses, and deliver tailored treatment interventions in accordance with NHS guidelines and best practices.
* Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including psychology, social work, and allied health professionals, to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients.
* Provide expert advice and consultation on complex cases and contribute to team decision-making.
* Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and service development activities.
* Take an active role in the teaching and training of medical students, junior doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
* Ensure that all clinical documentation is accurate and up-to-date, maintaining high standards of record-keeping in line with NHS policies.
* Engage with service users and their families, promoting recovery and providing support throughout the treatment process.
Essential Qualifications:
* Full GMC Registration with a license to practice.
* Section 12 approval (or eligibility for approval).
* CCT or CESR
