Our Administration Team currently have an opportunity for a Bank Administrator to work within various administration departments such as Main Reception, Outpatient Reception, Customer Services, Inpatient Bookings and Medical Records to cover annual leave and sickness. These areas are busy, therefore the successful candidate must be able to work under pressure, with their own initiative and most importantly they are flexible with their working hours. Our departments are open from 7am-8pm across Monday-Friday and Saturday 8am-4pm therefore you will be expected to work within these hours and days, at short notice and able to change shifts to meet the needs of the departments.
As our Administrator, you will:
* Demonstrate excellent customer service, via the phone and face to face.
* Have a high attention to detail with excellent computer skills.
* Be flexible with your working hours and days.
* Preferably a background within a Hospital setting but training will be provided.
To succeed as an Administrator, you will have:
* Previous administration experience.
* Proven record of delivering customer service.

Shrewsbury hospital, ranked as 'Good' in the last CQC inspection, is purpose built and well equipped with 30 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care warkUnit, and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT facilities.
We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matron-led nursing team. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, and women's health, but also undertake general surgery, urology, and interventions for chronic pain management.
