About theRole
This is a great opportunityfor an Assistant Headteacher who islooking for the chance to bring innovation andcreativity to inspire learning in anSEN environment for pupils with varied and complexneeds. Your work will be challenging and rewarding inequal measure, and you will be the custodian ofour strong safeguarding culture, where pupilsare listened to, respected and involved in as many decisionsas possible.
In partnership with our Headteacherand Senior Leadership Team, you will deliver clear, authenticleadership to our multidisciplinary team, establishingschool aims and objectives, ensuring high levels ofquality and compliance and working collaboratively todevelop appropriate, individualised programmes of learning for ourpupils.

Aboutthe School
Upton GrangeSchool is our Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 settingfor pupils aged 3 - 11 years old setting. Upton Grange deploysa wide range of teaching strategies to engage and develop theprogress of learners, who present with a range of learningdifficulties and styles. Our pupils are taught in smaller classsizes and work towards an Equals Semi-Formal Curriculum andNational Curriculum expectations whereappropriate.
This opportunity is located inSlough, a 15-minute walk from rail station and within commutabledistance of Maidenhead, Twickenham and surroundingareas.
