Sustainability Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's leading sustainability consultancies who work on numerous multidisciplinary projects across the UK. They are currently on the lookout for an established sustainability engineer to hit the ground running for their energy team in their Bristol offices.
Role responsibilities for a Sustainability Engineer include:
1. Use IES-VE software to undertake energy modelling and optimise the building performance of the clients' projects.
2. Mentor and help develop the junior members of the team on their IES-VE proficiency.
3. Provide clients with sustainable solutions and strategies on a variety of services that include thermal comfort and overheating, low-zero carbon feasibility studies, daylight calculations, building regulations compliance, and SAP and SBEM.
4. Consult on M&E strategies for residential and commercial projects.
The ideal Sustainability Engineer will have:
1. Relevant degree within a sustainability, engineering, or architectural field.
2. Working experience with IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling and thermal analysis.
3. Relevant experience in a sustainability or building physics engineer role within the construction industry.
4. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
5. Live within a commutable distance to the Bristol office.
