Its purpose is to encourage rugby, and its values, to flourish across England. This year, the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 will be hosted in England and the RFU are creating a marketing campaign to drive fandom and participation. We are looking for a Project Administrator to join the team on a fixed term basis to support the delivery of an integrated marketing campaign. The successful candidate will work across the team, and with external stakeholders, in an administrative capacity. What will you be doing? Some key responsibilities include: Supporting the Senior Campaigns Manager on the delivery of the Red Roses campaign on the build up to and during Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025. This will include but not limited to preparing meeting content, maintaining issue logs and risk registers, action logging and tracking, and taking minutes. Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that cross functional meetings are organised and delivered. Helping to ensure the regular maintenance of project plans. Supporting in the management of external agencies such as creative, PR and media agencies. Communicating with internal stakeholders and senior leaders working on the campaign. Actively collaborating with colleagues across the team with ad hoc project related tasks to support project delivery. Supporting with maintaining marketing reporting systems and processes that allow oversight and tracking of projects to key stakeholder groups including the Leadership Team and internal teams at the RFU. Supporting the Business Management Approvals process, working closely with those submitting requests to ensure the proposal is being submitted with all relevant information. Actively collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development and delivery of the current strategic, business and operational plans. Act as an ambassador for, and promote the best interests of the RFU, including the promotion of our culture and core values – This Rose Means Everyone: Put The Team First, Shape The Future, Respect Each Other. Undertake other duties as may be required from time to time as are consistent with the responsibilities of the post and the needs of the organisation. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE The skills and attributes outlined in this description are not exhaustive and we welcome candidates who can bring different relevant experiences to the role. Essential: Must have experience of organising and operating office systems and providing a Team Administration service in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint with experience using Smartsheet desirable. Experience of supporting project delivery. Experience of working collaboratively with senior members of staff. Experience working on successful projects. Experience building and maintaining relationships with a range of stakeholders. Excellent organisational skills, with an emphasis on managing priorities, forward planning, attention to detail and adopting a flexible approach. A self-starter, able to work individually or part of a team to ensure the delivery of tasks. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Able to work to tight deadlines or short turnaround times. Must demonstrate the highest professional standards of operation and service. Excellent judgement and ability to think creatively to navigate through challenges and reach desired goals.
