Are you our next Airport Operations Planner We are looking for someone who can help us redefine what's possible for the airfield operation.
What is the role?
Ensure the Operation has a daily plan that matches the requirements of the customer throughput with adequate resourcing levels, adhering to all time and practice agreements within the Security function. Liaising with and influencing the Sales and Operations Planning team, scheduling team and Training teams, ensuring our regulatory obligations can be met through planning of our Security Officer teams. Short-, medium- and long-term planning are required to effectively support the operation, using knowledge of both Customer and Airport Security Planning. Giving the Operational teams the right plan to keep our CSS measures within limits.
What will you do?
* Create the Customer Security Day plans.
* Ensure the most up to date forecast is in use and match plans to forecast.
* Ensure teams are adequately resourced with Scheduling, to allow lanes the right level of headcount for plans.
* To build the FX requirement 3 weeks out to match Operational need.
* To liaise with multiple GAL teams to support our airport requirements.
* To communicate to the Operational teams in terms of plans taking their feedback into the daily job.
Do you have what we're looking for?
* Strong analytical skills. Advanced MS office skills, Strong background in excel. Would be beneficial for experience with Power BI, Python & Tableau.
* Knowledge of time and motion rules in both Airport and Customer Security.
* Ability to tailor data so that it is meaningful to various levels within the Security operation.
* Ability to capture accurate requirements from stakeholders.
* Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines.
* Ability to maintain Security Incentive programs across the ASO teams.
* Ability to use own knowledge to support and influence modelling of roster types and programmes.
