Chief Systems Engineer - Missile Defense at Innovative Global Talent Agency

What You’ll Be Doing
* Leveraging your systems engineering expertise to contribute to the development of technical baselines and reference architectures for standard designs and solutions.
* Conducting systems engineering and integration for missile defense technology, including design, development, prototyping, demonstration, and testing.
* Supporting mission operations, wargames and exercises, testing, modeling, and simulation.
* Designing, developing, integrating, operating, and sustaining secure and reliable information management architectures for mission systems.
* Leading technical execution on programs, including customer interfacing and preparing/presenting briefings to internal leadership and external customers.
* Developing and implementing technical approaches to meet customer requirements, and ensuring solutions are testable and reliable.
* Managing complex infrastructure and systems, ensuring they are sustained, maintained, and modernized effectively.
You’re Probably a Match If You Have:
* A Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience will be considered.
* A strong background in one or more of the following areas: missile warning, missile defense, strategic warning, or theatre missile warning/defense.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
* Experience in developing technical solutions and integrating complex systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
* Experience supporting defense or government customers.
* Background in missile warning, missile defense, and command and control systems.
* Familiarity with Agile development principles and space mission operations.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build teams with external partners.
* Experience in systems integration and system testing.
* Top Secret clearance is a plus.

* A competitive salary range of $128,000 - $238,000, based on experience and geographic location.
