ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY
In this part-time role, the post-holder will support the delivery of the Asset Maintenance Programme and longer-term Asset strategy, leading on planning, risk identification, and work preparation quality control.
Key accountabilities
* Execute the process that plans and schedules the Polymers asset maintenance work for a rolling 3-month window.
* Deliver an agreed 2-week fully engineered and resourced plan to optimise resources and deliver a productive, cost-effective, and safe maintenance service.
* Plan, pre-engineer, and coordinate all maintenance work for the allocated discipline, ensuring all necessary Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Work packs, materials, tools/equipment, and services are available.
* Monitor and drive progress to meet the schedule, addressing and reporting issues that could affect scope, progress, quality, or cost.
* Develop and plan Outage scope and support the centralised TAR team.
* Scope and estimate all requested work, ensuring progress through agreed processes.
* Maintain asset work history data in the maintenance management system.
* Support and coach team members in Maximo and the maintenance workflow process.
* Manage the weekly services and materials maintenance budget and provide reports on estimated and actual spends.
* Plan and prepare work to ensure KPI compliance and no overdue statutory items.

ABOUT YOU
You should:
* Be educated to HND/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with a time-served maintenance background.
* Have good communication and organisational skills.
* Have experience in Maintenance work pack preparation, Maintenance Engineering, Facilities Management, or Project Engineering in a relevant industry.
* Demonstrate understanding of the maintenance workflow process, Maximo, and scheduling tools (Primavera).
* Be proficient in computer systems such as MS Office.
* Have knowledge of heavy industry equipment (e.g., Pumps, Compressors, Motors, Instrumentation, Piping, Vessels, Valves, Hoses, Tanks).
* Have knowledge of LOLER, PUWER, ATEX, and DSEAR requirements.
* Demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to chair meetings and host presentations.
* Be able to manage multiple work packages simultaneously.
