Do you have a strong background in teaching and experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We’re looking for dedicated, compassionate, and proactive 1:1 Tutors to join our growing team. About the Role: As a 1:1 SEN Tutor, you’ll work closely with children and young people who require additional support outside of a traditional classroom setting. You’ll deliver tailored, engaging, and inclusive learning sessions in line with their EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans), supporting academic goals as well as social and emotional development. Sessions may take place at home, in school, or in community settings. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, individualised tutoring sessions in English, Maths, and/or other subjects Support students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Dyslexia, and more Build positive relationships with students and their families Track progress and provide regular feedback to parents, carers, and professionals Adapt learning strategies to meet individual needs and learning styles Essential Requirements: A minimum of 2 years UK teaching experience A recognised UK teaching qualification (e.g. QTS, PGCE, Cert Ed) Experience working with children/young people with SEN (in a school, care, or tutoring setting) A nurturing, patient, and resilient approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to plan and deliver engaging sessions independently Interested?
