The Computer Science Department of our High School Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and capable Computer Science/ICT teacher to deliver Computer Science and IT, across all Key Stages. Our department is well resourced, friendly and dedicated to providing a first-class learning experience we can for all our learners. The departments' results have been excellent across GCSE, A-level and Vocational courses.
At KS3 we provide ICT and Computer Science theory to provide life skills for all learners and prepare others for a future in ICT or Computer Science. At KS4 we offer GCSE Computer Science and Cambridge Nationals in Information Technologies. At KS5 we offer A-Level Computer Science and BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Information Technology.
The successful candidate would be:-
1. knowledgeable in Computer Science and ICT,
2. capable of delivering effective lessons to all learners in a class,
3. adaptable enough to deliver a broad range of topics
4. have the enthusiasm and drive to develop as a professional.
5. be able to communicate effectively with learners of all abilities and backgrounds

Qualification Criteria
7. Qualified to degree level and above in the relevant subject.
8. Qualified to teach in the UK, PCGE, or similar.
Experience
9. Teachers of all levels of experience including ECTs are welcome to apply for general teacher posts.

10. Excellent classroom practitioner (whose lessons are rated as good or above consistently).
11. Effective and systematic behaviour management, with clear boundaries, sanctions, praise and rewards.
12. Has good communication, planning and organisational skills.
13. Demonstrates resilience, motivation and commitment to driving standards of achievement.
14. Commitment to regular and on-going professional development and training to establish outstanding classroom practice.
15. Has a passion for teaching.
16. Results orientated.
