Are you an experienced administrator with excellent IT skills?
Do you enjoy talking to and supporting people over the telephone?
To be successful in this role you will need to be competent in the use of Word, Excel and other Microsoft packages, have a good telephone manner and great office management skills, demonstrate a team player mindset but also be able to work independently whilst showcasing initiative.
You'll be working autonomously, as well as collaborating alongside administrators in the team and from other health services to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
The role will require you to accurately input data and maintain database information systems. This includes collating information from partner services and organisations. You'll provide efficient administrative support to the Phoenix team to support children, young people, families and carers.
1. To respond appropriately to telephone and email enquiries from patients, relatives, staff, GP surgeries and other professionals, promptly and sensitively, ensuring messages are dealt with or accurately passed on.
2. To assist the team in the organisation of the patient referral and discharge process.
3. To assist in the organisation and maintenance of an effective medical/patient records system including patient registration and other data entry into the electronic health records system.
4. To manage the electronic management of the team’s caseloads, waiting lists and appointments.
