We are seeking a Level 2 Qualified Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in the Bristol area.
This is a full-time position starting before the Easter Holidays at a 2-form entry Primary School committed to fostering an environment where children are encouraged to develop an inquisitive mindset, take pride in their achievements, and uphold high personal values.
You will help create learning environments that allow pupils to expand their knowledge.
The Role
The successful candidate will be proactive, energetic, and inspiring, helping students become confident and independent learners. The Head Teacher seeks a flexible, creative, and supportive individual capable of maintaining a calm and consistent environment. You will need to use your initiative to adapt and develop activities tailored to individual pupils’ needs.
* Be a Level 2 Qualified Teaching Assistant.
* Have previous experience working with children in a classroom setting.
* Be adaptable to ensure access to the curriculum for all children.
* Implement planned activities and modify them based on student responses and development.
* Possess excellent behaviour management skills.
* Support children’s social and emotional development.
* Collaborate with the school SENCo to support individual pupils effectively.
