SEN-TA – Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time Pay: £85-£100 per day Location: Brent Job Type: Full Time, Long Term About the role: We have an incredible opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant – Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist at a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the heart of Brent, London. As an SEN TA – ASD Specialist, you’ll work closely with students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing individualized support to help them engage with their learning and build essential skills. You’ll collaborate with teachers and specialists to create tailored strategies, ensuring that each student’s unique needs are met. Key Responsibilities: • Support students with ASD in their academic and social development. • Work 1:1 or in small groups to implement learning strategies. • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists. • Assist in developing and maintaining Individual Education Plans (IEPs). • Promote a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
