Be-Resourcing is excited to present an opportunity for a Fund Operations Oversight Analyst based in Edinburgh. This role is essential to ensuring operational excellence within our client's Operations team, which provides comprehensive oversight of functions outsourced to critical third-party providers. The Operations Oversight Analyst will play a key role in executing various internal functions, including corporate actions, regulatory reporting, and cash monitoring, while continuously collaborating with both external and internal stakeholders.
The main responsibilities for this position include:
1. Supporting the trade life cycle across various instruments, including equities, bonds, foreign exchange, and derivatives.
2. Overseeing NAV-related tasks and daily cash reconciliations.
3. Managing corporate actions and fund flow reporting.
4. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal procedures.
5. Conducting oversight and monitoring of third-party service providers.
6. Providing management information and supporting projects tied to fund changes and transitions.
7. Identifying operational improvements and documenting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
1. Minimum of 3 years+ financial services industry experience.
2. Experience across operations with a focus on Investment Operations / Fund Oversight / NAV.
3. Experience with MI and reporting, breach analysis, and procedure reviews.
4. Qualifications: IOC (desirable).
