Project Manager or an experienced Project Engineer required for a market leading process plant supply company committed to supporting their customers with providing effective solutions for air pollution control issues. The Project Manager role would suit candidates from an engineering background, having worked with process plant equipment. Any experience with equipment associated with air movement would be advantageous but is not essential as on the job training will be given to close any product & process knowledge gaps.
The Project Manager will truly take ownership of the projects worked on and will be involved in all aspects of a project, starting at order placement, and working through to final handover to the client.
The Project Manager Role:
· Role will include equipment design and specification, supervision of layout and detailed drawing development, production and monitoring of project programmes, cost management/margin uplift where possible, management of resources, liaison with subcontractors and suppliers etc.
· Handle multiple international projects from contract to completion in Air Pollution Control, typically involving Thermal Oxidisers, Carbon Adsorption Systems, Filters, Scrubbers, and ancillary equipment with a typical order value £250,000 to £5,000,000.
· Liaising with clients and suppliers to establish accurate time frames and budgets.
· Working out of the UK office and with extended resources globally.
· Report to Business Director
The Project Manager Candidate:
· Project engineering experience.
· Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar.
· Experience of managing projects related to process plant equipment
· Travel internationally when required.
