The Merchant Solutions Technology group provides the Corporate Bank with a dedicated team that capitalizes on the rapidly evolving technology industry to provide our clients new products and innovation to meet their growing needs within an Agile FinTech-like setup. We deliver innovative products such as our Digital Payment Gateway (creating an API based solution allowing Marketplaces and Merchant to streamline their payment processing and settlement activities). As part of our technology team you will be responsible for software automation, reliability and continuous integration of our platforms, enabling architects, software engineers/developers, testers and production ops regarding to deliver product lines using a variety of technologies.

Your key responsibilities
* Infrastructure as Code: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain our infrastructure as code to ensure robust and scalable systems
* Build and Deployment Automation: Create and enhance automated build and deployment workflows to streamline development and release processes
* Observability and Monitoring: Implement and refine observability capabilities to ensure comprehensive monitoring and quick resolution of issues
* Service Level Indicator (SLI) / Service Level Objectives (SLO) Management: Collaborate with business product owners, development teams, and production support to define, monitor, and report SLIs and SLOs, ensuring we meet our contractual SLAs
* Technical Leadership and Support: Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory controls, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
* Innovation and Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends, security requirements, and best practices in the fintech area, integrating innovative solutions to keep our infrastructure and processes at the cutting edge
Your skills and experiences
* Experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer
* Strong understanding of industry standard processes for build, deploy, release, monitoring, and support (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, incident/problem/change management, vulnerability management, establishing SLIs and monitoring of SLIs/SLOs/SLAs, etc.)
* Strong experience in Kubernetes containerization platforms (GKE, OpenShift), HELM and Terraform and with version control (e.g. Git), and continuous integration systems (e.g. Team City, GitHub Actions and Runners) and development of automated test tooling
* Good experience in cloud based, distributed, highly available and fault tolerant applications, and of “Function-as-a-Service” cloud environments (GCP Cloud Run or equivalent)
* Good experience in database technologies (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, cloud databases), micro-service architectures, build tools (e.g. Maven, Gradle), Java
* Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English; German language knowledge would be a plus.
