Quality Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Establish and implement quality standards, control procedures, and testing methods for materials and finished products.
Ensure effective implementation of New Product Introductions and engineering changes, ensuring repeatable processes.
Reduce the cost of poor quality, through continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure best practises and compliance on the shop floor while optimising assembly and testing equipment for current and future needs.
Conduct supplier audits for ISO and business compliance, Enhance manufacturing by analysing failures, reviewing documents, qualifying tools and containing defects.
Quality Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant quality standards.
Familiarity with quality tools and methods (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, SPC).
Experience in resolving production line issues related to jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
Knowledge of test rig development and upgrades.
