Job Title: Qualified Social Worker – Looked After Children Team
Location: Anglesey
Rate: £41.58 per hour
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting experienced Qualified Social Workers to join a busy team based in Anglesey within the Looked After Children team.
What will your responsibilities be?
You will work with children and families to achieve the desired outcomes, discharge care orders, attend and participate in strategy meetings, and conduct Looked After Children reviews. You will complete care plans, Child Permanence Reports (CPR), pathway plans, and children and family assessments. You will also engage in multi-agency working with partner agencies. Additionally, you will take personal responsibility for continuing professional development and maintaining performance levels. You will manage your time effectively and respond flexibly to service needs. You will provide support and cover for the Team Manager and/or Principal Manager. You will actively participate in the performance management system, including supervision, PAR, team meetings, and service reviews. You will follow departmental health and safety procedures. You will develop skills through work experience in various divisional situations, such as secondments, job rotation, and shadowing. You will contribute to information management processes. You will support social work students on placement under the direction of the Principal or Practice Manager, acting as a workplace supervisor or Practice Teacher if appropriately trained. You will need to understand and integrate into practice the key policies of the council in relation to social care with children and families, especially multi-disciplinary working, integration, and whole family approaches.

Qualifications and Experiences:
You must have Social Work England registration and be eligible to work in the UK. Additionally, you need to hold a full UK driving licence and possess post-qualified experience. A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work is also required.
