The Endoscopy Unit is currently developing their ERCP and EUS service to improve the quality and standard of care for this particular patient group. This role will support the coordination of procedure lists, associated pre-assessment clinics, and revalidation of waiting lists. As part of our wider endoscopy service, the post holder will also be involved with the delivery of the Cytoscot service.
This is an exciting development to join an excellent team within a large and expanding Endoscopy Service.
We require a dynamic, motivated, and enthusiastic individual with relevant current experience working within Endoscopy, particularly ERCP, EUS, and Cytoscot. They will support the clinical team to develop a patient-centred approach to assessing, planning, and implementing care. They should also possess leadership and mentorship skills to support the nursing team in developing their knowledge and skills.
Suitable candidates should have extensive post-registration nursing experience within Endoscopy. The suitable candidate must have a sound knowledge of all areas of Endoscopy and evidence of Endoscopy competency completion. They should be able to work effectively and efficiently in a challenging environment, providing support and guidance to the multidisciplinary team.
You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to promote and drive change across the service. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate clinical excellence in nursing practice and evidence of continuous service improvement.
If you think that you are up for the challenge, then we want to hear from you.
