Description
The Counter Lead is responsible for supporting their Brand in driving sales turnover and market share through consistently remaining consumer focused.
They are accountable for achieving this by:
1. Reflecting a credible and professional Brand image to all internal and external consumers at all times
2. Maximising sales through selling, providing excellent service and retail standards
3. Contributing to efficiencies through adhering to store/Brand/Company Procedures and guidelines
4. Understanding daily/weekly targets
5. Ensuring personal awareness of all additional sales avenues such as eventing, Omni, and digital channels
6. Keeping up to date with competitor activities and missed opportunities
7. Effectively using social media to drive the business, protect, and enhance the Brand image
8. Delivering the Brand Strategy and an effective local plan
9. Planning and implementing local marketing and events initiatives aligned with Retailer activity
10. Delivering excellence in service, with measures to continually improve service levels and foster a surprise and delight culture
11. Being an Ambassador for the Brand, ensuring Brand values are represented and brought to life
12. Managing refunds and complaints according to Company guidelines, consulting with the Area Manager when necessary
13. Using digital tools to keep knowledge up to date
14. Delivering a consumer recruitment and retention strategy to build a loyal customer base
15. Developing product knowledge to ensure industry-leading customer experience and product relevance
Operations
Plan to ensure high standards at all times (product, housekeeping, displays, messaging, pricing)
Review retail standards daily to ensure they are maintained
Complete deliveries, stock movements, and related administration within agreed timeframes
Follow auditable processes and take corrective actions where needed
Accurately fulfill information requests within deadlines
Minimize stock loss by adhering to Security Policies and Procedures
Create a safe working environment, adhering to Health & Safety policies
Ensure operational activities meet audit standards
Commerciality
Manage daily replenishment proactively
Maximise sales using commercial reports for decision-making
Plan and execute visual merchandising according to guidelines and timelines
Address stock package issues and inform the Area Manager when necessary
Manage promotions and discounts per guidelines
Identify trends and suggest improvements for product performance
Qualifications
* Experience in a fast-paced retail or consumer-facing environment
* Ability to drive self-development
* Commercial understanding of the industry
* Effective communication, organization, and prioritization skills
