Job Summary
You will be speaking to end users, HCPs and health care practices to establish relationships and promote ConvaTec Products and Amcare Solutions. An excellent communicator with a can-do attitude working to enhance our reputation and market share by providing ethical solutions to customer needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. To achieve agreed KPI targets
2. Develop new sales opportunities using outbound calls, emails, SMS and live chat.
3. Make follow-up calls to end users regarding products and services and using solution based selling skills, facilitate conversions to ConvaTec products and Amcare services.
4. Keep updated with all new products and services available to our customers.
5. Communicate effectively – both verbally and in writing with end users of our products, healthcare professionals and internal customers.
6. Have an excellent understanding of all stoma types and can suggest appropriate products for each condition.
7. Understand the Amcare service offering and be able to position key benefits providing solutions and advocating customer choice.
8. Drive performance through self-motivation and thrive under pressure. Prioritize workload to ensure that the service offered meets the expectation of the customer.
9. Demonstrate proficiency in the use of databases and focus on gathering essential information as quickly as possible bearing in mind the needs of our customers.
10. Follow and understand the need for established procedures within the department but also question and continuously look for ways they can be improved.
11. Use open questions and good questioning techniques to identify an opportunity to upgrade a competitor user onto a ConvaTec Solution and Amcare service.
12. Develop relationships with customers through empathy and diplomacy.

13. Has a good understanding of the Ostomy and/or Continence market, including all stoma types and can suggest appropriate products for each condition.

15. Able to translate complex technical regulatory issues into plain language to non-technical audiences.
16. Articulate with advanced interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with a variety of personnel including medical, scientific, manufacturing and commercial.
17. Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Travel Requirements
1. Occasional travel required to Patient Open days at various venues.
2. At least monthly requirement to travel to any Amcare, ConvaTec or other UK site as required.
Language Skills
1. Good verbal and written English.
2. Excellent communication skills are essential.
Education and Experience
1. A-Levels.
2. 12 month experience in sales.
3. Proven track record in Sales Role.
4. Experience of recognizing sales opportunities.
