About this role:
Renaissance Global are recruiting for an Office and Employee Experience Co-ordinator to join our growing Houghton Le Spring team.
This role offers two exciting areas of focus, each with its own unique set of opportunities. A small yet essential part of the role will involve office coordination, where you'll play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of our office, ensuring everything runs efficiently, and helping uphold our Health and Safety standards.
However, the majority of your time will be spent driving employee engagement at the Houghton-le-Spring office. You'll have the opportunity to shape and nurture a thriving workplace culture, while also leading exciting initiatives focused on talent attraction and retention. This part-time 20 hours per week position is a Hybrid working model role. The successful candidate must be able to commit to working in the office Tuesday – Thursday with core hours being 09:30am-14:00pm; outside of this, we are happy to work with the successful candidate to create a working week that accommodates your life.
Job Responsibilities:
* Support with the development and maintenance of employee engagement activities promoting a positive employee experience.
* Research best practices and innovative initiatives to engage employees and make the office a welcoming and inclusive environment.
* Plan and implement a calendar of events, including volunteer days, wellbeing activities, DE&I events, and celebrations.
* Use your creative flair to think of new ways to engage employees.
* Design surveys to measure office engagement.
* Co-ordinate any events associated with employee experience.
* Support the HR business partner with talent attraction & talent development projects related to the relevant business area, co-ordinate any associated projects.
* Organise and support attendance at local careers events.
* Co-ordinate any Tech/Product related award submissions, working closely with the department managers and the marketing team.
* Co-ordinate any community outreach initiatives for the Houghton-le-Spring office.
* Work with local charities to identify and showcase opportunities that will encourage uptake in the 5 volunteer days given to all employees.
* Design the monthly newsletter for Technology & Product.
* Plan and manage the summer and winter parties for the North-East office.
* Act as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service.
* Order and maintain kitchen and office supplies, ensuring that offices are stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
* Raise purchase orders and ensure prompt payment of invoices related to the Houghton-le-Spring office.
* Assist with event planning and coordination, including booking venues and catering.
* Co-ordinate the maintenance of a clean and organized working environment for staff and visitors.
* Provide administrative support to the Vice President of Technology and Operations.
Skills and experience required:
To be considered for the role of Office and Employee Experience Co-ordinator, we are looking for someone with experience in office management, including health and safety, and a keen interest in employee engagement who has worked in a busy office environment, and worked in diary management and provided admin support for senior leaders.
You will also have:
* Able to use Microsoft Office Suite and other office software.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Customer-focused approach to work.
* Ability to work independently.
* Good at solving problems.
* Experience of working on projects.

Additional information:
This role is a Hybrid role based out of our Houghton-le-Spring office (DH4 5QY) with the expectation of some travel to other offices as required for team meetings.
We offer a competitive salary of up to £15.00 per hour, dependent on experience, plus lots of amazing benefits.
