We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Mechanical Technician to join our team. This position operates on a rotating three-shift schedule and is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems across our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that all equipment operates at peak efficiency to meet production goals and comply with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Repairs:
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment, including motors, conveyor systems, pumps, and PLC systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime.
Replace or repair faulty components, such as wiring, bearings, belts, or control systems.
Installation & Upgrades:
Install, configure, and test new electrical or mechanical systems and equipment.
Assist in the implementation of system upgrades and improvements to enhance productivity.
Operations Support:
Respond promptly to equipment failures during assigned shifts to minimize production disruptions.
Work closely with production teams to identify and resolve operational issues.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Report any recurring issues or potential improvements to the supervisor or engineering team.
Compliance & Safety:
Follow company safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment adheres to safety regulations.
CMMS:
Prioritise and complete work from CMMS system.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Associate degree or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Technology (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Knowledge of PLC programming, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
Experience with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment, including standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs).
Comfortable working in varying conditions (heat, noise, and confined spaces).
Shift Schedule:
This position operates on a three-shift rotation:
Shift A: [07.00-15.00]
Shift B: [15.00-23.00]
Shift C: [23.00-07.00]
Flexibility is required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
You will be required to be on a call-out rota for weekends/bank holidays
