Operations and Recruitment Coordinator Merton, London ⏰ Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (Office base) Salary: £32,000-£35,000 A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Operations and Recruitment Coordinator to join a dynamic team based in London. Our client, a leading organisation in their field, is seeking a highly organised individual with excellent communication skills to take on this pivotal role. Role: As an Operations and Recruitment Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring optimal staff and vehicle scheduling to fulfil project recruitment's. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will identify recruitment needs within the site teams and plan accordingly. Your responsibilities will include resource planning and scheduling, staff training coordination, and maintaining a high standard of operational efficiency. Responsibilities: Resource Planning and Scheduling. Plan and book staff and transport build and take down schedule ensuring allocation of sufficient resources to fulfil the requirements. Ensure all job information is communicated clearly to the site teams. Approve all part-time staffing hours and additional supplement information for payroll. Ensure that any restrictions specified by the client are communicated to the site teams. Ensure regular contact with Foreman to ensure staff uniform, attendance, and performance are continually monitored and kept to a high standard. Maintain an overall knowledge of the staff skill sets such as driver and plant licenses. Plan and manage day-to-day transportation operations ensuring efficient utilisation of the fleet and paying particular attention to vehicle weight limits. Coordinate and schedule all drivers, including agency drivers and haulers, to ensure efficient delivery to and collection from the site. Recruitment, Training and PPE Manage the workforce recruitment process (posting jobs, telephone screening, booking interviews, issuing uniform and PPE) Coordinate all on-site staff induction and Ladder training, maintain documentation, and keep the staff training matrix relevant and up to date. Work with Operations Manager to identify staff that would benefit from further training. Ensure staff have the necessary training for company equipment inclusive of operation of plant and power tools. Monitor lateness and attendance of staff and report to the operations manager. Monitor and control workforce uniform and PPE stock. Check site foreman have uploaded health and safety documents after each project. Assist Foreman with staff sign ins. Key skills: Strong organisational and logistical planning abilities. Detail-oriented with experience managing busy schedules. Excellent communication skills, particularly in recruitment processes.
