Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Contract Type: Full-Time Term Time Only Location: Maidstone, Kent Salary: £85-£100 per day Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs ? If so, we'd love to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Providing tailored support to children with a range of SEN needs, ensuring they can fully access the curriculum. Assisting the class teacher in creating engaging learning experiences. Building positive relationships with pupils to encourage confidence and independence. Monitoring and recording progress, and supporting the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child. Requirements: Proven experience working with children with SEN in an educational or similar setting. A strong understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies to support them effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with children.
